All wedding photographers around the world, throughout the centuries boast a sixth sense. Probably even before wedding photographer the wedding stone carvers boasted the same sixth sense. This special sixth sense honed by wedding photographers in essentially the ability to know without a shadow of a doubt that two people are perfect for each other and will live an amazing wedded life together. With Aman and Gurdeep, unfortunately there was no need for me to even hone in on that sixth sense because Aman knew it without a doubt.
When I entered the bridal suite on the day of Aman and Gurdeeps wedding she was calm and collected, relaxed and happy. As we began talking about their courtship a smile crept up on Amans face that never left that night. She talked all about Gurdeep’s kind heart, the way they hold each other, his ability to make her laugh, his boyish good looks and you could plainly see that these two were perfectly in love.
That perfect type of love where he still opens car doors, pulls out her chair and protects her from the monsters on the big screen at the movie theater. The type of love that will never fade and never grow old, this was the type of love Aman spoke of that made everyone melt.
Their wedding was an intimate affair with close family and friends in attendance for their Punjabi wedding. Aman looked simply spectacular as Gurdeep stole glances at her, joked with her and vowed to always protect her.
Their Bhangra stampede a.k.a reception took place at the Harbor View Marina in Woodbridge, VA. Aman and Gurdeep were on the dance floor from the moment it opened into the wee hours of the night, dancing with guests, laughing and having the ritualistic dance off of New Jerseyians vs. Virginians with all others forced to pick sides.
Throughout their wedding day it was self evident that their love was strong enough to conquer any obstacles they would ever come across and they had the support of friends and family behind them.
