“You want to use our clothing?” it was the equivalent of asking a fat child if he wanted another piece of cake, asking Lebron if he wanted a ring; our eyes glistened, our composure came undone as we exalted “Yes!” and with those six words a series of events unfolded within four days to set up a fun, sophisticated and amusing photo shoot.
We partnered with the ever fabulous Chaubara Fashion Studio for a very glamorous Indian bridal fashion shoot. The clothing, all designed by store owner, Mahima Agarwal, were extravagant. From the bright colors to the sparkling gems and ornate bead work, the clothes paired with our beautiful models and made for some stunning images.
As wedding photographers it is always nice to challenge one’s self in another facet of photography, and this was just our outlet.
We started off our day in the back woods of Huntley Meadows to do some detail work on an extravagant red bridal outfit, the contrast of colors, the beauty of the outfit and the ever dazzling models made the shoot not only easy but ohh so much fun.
Next we were fortunate enough to aquire a sail boat for the day and took full advantage of it! We coaxed our models onto a sail boat on the calm waters of the Potomac river. Under the bright sunlight across deep blue water, Chaubara’s clothing dazzled.
After a quick clothing change we headed over to Huntley Meadows Park in Alexandria, Virginia to end the day on the boardwalk, although we have very little time with the couples, we hope you love the images!
