She barely slept from the night before tapping her foot in angst and staring at the clock; she had the mental countdown going in her head. Gowri has been planning her wedding for months, from finding the perfect venue, décor, linens, dress down to the letterpress announcements and pens that matched perfectly. She had four hours to go before she married the man of her dreams and all she could do was smile and take in the excitement.
Deepak was two flights down in the same hotel simply at ease, he was over the moon to be marrying the woman of his dreams and simply excited to have so much family and friends to partake in the day they spent the last year planning. He simply couldn’t wait to see his best friend; his future wife and wrap his arms around her promising to never let her go.
Gowri and Deepak’s decided to have some time to truly enjoy each other before the hustle and bustle of the wedding kicked off. They decided to do their first look on the grounds of Fox Chase Manor in Manasses, Virginia right outside of Washington DC.
Gowri was waiting patiently for Deepak, excited to see him and show off her gorgeous Sari. Deepaks eyes and smile grew in excitement the moment he saw her; excited and blown away at how beautiful his wife to be looked. Gowri strutted around Fox Chase taking advantage of the time she had with her fiancé, they laughed, joked, smiled and posed like runway models.
Hours later they sat next to each other under a beautiful mandap waiting to finally become husband and wife. Gowri’s smile was infectious as all 450 guests smiled and connected to the beautiful couple. The ceremony was followed by a beautiful reception where friends and family gave speeches talking about the love Gowri and Deepak share, their infectious personalities, loyalty and most of all their love.
