Priya was freezing; a December engagement session on the water at sunrise. She thought Rohit was slightly crazy; especially for planning it the morning after his 30th birthday where they were obligated to stay out all night with friends they haven’t seen in over a decade. Like everything they do though; there was a smile on their faces and Rohit kept Priya laughing, smiling and holding on to him. Priya won Rohit over with her quick wit, fun personality and the ability to keep Rohit on his toes. Priya was wearing a beautiful green netted Sari with matching jewelry that made her look stunning. Rohit was decked out in a fantastic suit with a hand picked tie by his beautiful fiance.
Their relationship started with e-mails, long distance phone calls and then on a whim Rohit boarded an American Airlines flight and crossed the country to see a beautiful girl he was infatuated with. Not knowing anything about Indiana; Priya led the way to Rohit’s delight. Their first date consisted of Priya picking up Rohit; taking him to one of her favorite restaurants and spending the night laughing, talking and simply starting to fall in love. A year and a half later Rohit proposed on the banks of the Boston Harbor starting the next chapter in their lives.
We took Rohit and Priya to the National Harbor in Washington DC and then we headed off to Georgetown to get some beautiful images with gorgeous backdrops of brownstones and vintage stores.
