Silpa and Kurt met by happenstance on the streets of New York City right outside of the NYU Campus. They were both students in alternating career paths that would have kept them on complete opposite sides of the campus, they were in a city of a million strangers and their connection may not have ever happened. Her dark flowing hair, glimmering smile and infectious laugh made Kurt’s heart skip a beat as he randomly saw her on the streets of New York – his mind stopped working and his feet walked directly up to her. Over a light hearted conversation, tender smiles and a little flirting – Kurt got a date with a girl that would literally change his life.
After forward to their wedding and the glimmering smile and infectious laugh had Kurt circle the fire holding his wife to be and smiling larger than life himself. She brought out the best in him, challenged him and most of all always kept him laughing. Their love for food, fine wine and each other kept them close and the perfect ying to the others yang.
As the evening progressed family and friends spoke about their love for each other, their families and the wonderful work they were both doing. They danced the night away as family and friends from all over the world celebrated with them.
