Neeva was dressed up beautifully from head to toe; stunning black heals, a gorgeous silk dress and her hair and makeup looking simply perfect. Yet; with all the glitz and glamour surrounding her college friend’s wedding; Neeva was panicking and looking for a last minute wedding date; Neeva’s best friend and wedding date came down with the flu only hours before the wedding.
She was panicking, frantically calling and looking for a step in date. After twenty minutes of no one being available at the last minute: Ahmed, Neeva’s brother suggested his best friend who just recently moved back to the Washington DC area as her date. Neeva at first didn’t think it was a good idea to take Steve, Ahmed’s best friend, but as time passed she realized it wouldn’t be such a bad idea. After all he was tall and would carry her things. Steve’s only concession of taking her was that she would in turn accompany him to a wedding as well.
Wedding after wedding they laughed as they enjoyed each other’s company, their laughter turned into infatuation which overtime turned into love and adornment. They had more in common than they ever imagined; their love for Mustangs, Virginia Tech Football and their mutual set of friends. Their love and laughter soon turned into happily ever after as they were married at the Fairview Park Marriott in a Traditional Nikah and Bou Bhaat ceremony.
